Finnable is one of the fastest growing financial technology (Fintech) start-up to help employees get hassle free loans. Our mission is to make personal loans available to all salaried professionals in less than 1 minute.
The company is founded by Nitin Gupta, Viraj Tyagi and Amit Arora. All 3 of them are ex-bankers. Nitin and Viraj are successful entrepreneurs they previously built a start-up called NettPositive Analytics (in financial services) which was acquired by Equifax. Amit brings in 21 years of global financial services experience across risk management and digital.
We bring deep expertise in financial technology to help employees improve their financial being. We believe that the financial services industry is regressive as higher earners can access better-value financial products than lower earners, driving inequality in society. Through technology and innovation, and with the support of employers, we strive to make the lives of millions of salaried earners less stressful, more productive and much happier.
Nitin has over 20 years of experience in doing analytics for financial services industry. From the era when analytics used to be only a few management reports in excel, to now when analytics is a fundamental and core function for any business with big data and AI, Nitin has been a significant contributor to this journey. Starting his analytics career at an MNC Bank, he later set-up his own analytics company which worked with large banks across the globe. He conceived and built innovative products which helped banks and NBFC’s to increase their customer cross holding significantly and drive down the credit risk.
He truly believes that best of analytics is yet to come in financial services. Lending industry is still largely paper-based and most of the analytics currently is inward focused rather than customer focused. Hopefully, he will be able to build Finnable with these nuggets of wisdom, as one of the most customer oriented financial company. He is also an angel investor and mentors a few start-ups.
Nitin is an MBA from IIM, Bangalore.
